Title: M1A Scout mount (Springfield Armory)
Post by: Boston on December 17, 2010, 11:11:07 AM

I've a nearly new SA mount to make your M1A or Polytech a Scout-type rifle.
Fits all standard G.I. barrels (but not medium or heavy contour).
Includes the camo upper handguard with cut-out.

Price postpaid is $90 (cash or blank M.O.) or three oz. .999 silver to:

Javelin Press
P.O. Box 4241
Gillette, Wyo. 82717

P.S.  The better (though heavier and $250) mount is from www.amegaranges.com
I went this route, but there's nothing really wrong with an SA mount.
It worked great on my M1A.  I'm T&Eing the Amega mount now, that's all.

Is this still available?  If so, what is the current price?

Thanks,

I'll take it.  I can send $ or just do the deal at the jam, whichever you prefer.
