What are some of the "milder" areas of Wyoming?  Are there any near Cheyenne?

  Thanks

You'll find lots of information about climate, elevation, etc. in this board. http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswforum/index.php?board=15.0

You can also do a search string on "Cheyenne" and "climate" to find scattered other posts on the subject.

The mildest climate, far as I know, is here in the north east corner of the state. The folks in Cheyenne will have to speak for themselves. :) ML

There are actually several different little "banana belts" in Wyoming.  Newcastle is one, Greybull/Basin is another, and Wymiles mentioned that Lander is too.
