Allright folks, as I mentioned before I'll be spending this summer and early fall working at the Grand Teton Lodge Company in Wonderful, wild, Wyoming! I just purchased my plane tickets today, I'll be landing on May 8th in Jackson. Are their any people around that area that would like to meet up, maybe go shooting or just drink a beer (or both!)? I'm anxious to start meeting people out there. I'm almost 100% sure that I'll be at the Jamboree, god willing and the creek don't flood.
Yours in freedom,
Jeff

Welcome to Wyoming! You're gonna love Jackson. Try to get to the park before the 4th of july. Late june is the best time. I'm all the way cattie cornered from you in Laramie. B

Wow, that's great!
I'm way over next to South Dakota. A bit of a drive! Speaking of driving, I was on I90 yesterday, during the day, and noticed that I could see no cars either in front of me or behind! How often does that occur anywhere else on an INTERSTATE? Somewhat typical around here.
Enjoy!

Tick, tock! Tick, tock! I leave Tuesday and arrive three minutes before noon (should I refer to this as "high noon" once I'm in Wyoming?). I can't wait and I'm looking forward to meeting some interesting people from here.

Fantastic!
Wish I was closer or I'd haul out the welcome wagon for you! Must be somebody over in that corner of the state.

apexpredator, make sure you have your camera ready when you fly into Jackson. The view from the air is stunning. Even if you get a little glare from the plane windows, the shots will be worth it!!
Some of the ski lifts might be running for tourists. The Jackson Hole Trolley would be a great ride up the mountain, but last year was supposed to be it's last. 1966-2006 RIP. You might inquire, as it could have gotten a reprieve?
There will be just gobs to see and do all summer. Your off-hours schedule will be PACKED. -Especially if you like to hike. And Yellowstone, OMG, a geologists dream. Words CANNOT describe it. You have to EXPERIENCE it.

And I can point you to some really isolated hot springs if you want to do a little skinny dipping. Miles
