Mama's got some new entries. Take a look. Your feedback is important to me. It's hard to continue if I'm just talking to myself. :)

ML,
I just read the last several entries in your blog. Good stuff. Straight from the heart regarding the 4th of July stuff. Even saw my wife's pictures during the tree planting a while back. She's famous now!
Keep it up.

Thanks! I'm enjoying your blog too. Wonder if anyone else ever looks at them? >:D

I look at both when I have the occasion. Both of them are quite enjoyable, and I find a fair amount of motivation to hurry up and get out there too. Thanks for the inspiration, however "indirect" it may be!

I liked it - particularly the stuff on Independence day

New entry at my blog just today! :) http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswblogs/mamaliberty/

ML,
Any chance of a link from the main forum to yours and Mac's blogs?
From http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswforum/ I don't see any links to fswblogs.
I tried looking at http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswforum/fswblogs but that is forbidden.
thanks

I second sbeckman's request. I didn't even know there were blogs. Who else has one, and is there some kind of master page or list of blogs?

Hi ML. Nice that you've planted flowering plants... self-sustainability and farming interest me, so I'll be interested to see if you manage to keep the deer away and get something edible from the caraganas.
Story about the French... supposedly when the British met the French in southern Sudan in the famous 'Fashoda' incident, the British were astounded to find that the French had planted a garden there - in the Sahel!

Here is the list of blogs, so far.
Sam, I'd plant a LOT more things if I had decent soil here. I'm going to plant more trees, and some small fruits, but there's little chance for a garden of much size - especially considering the deer. Just one of those things. But I will have pinion nuts, acorns and some wild (and other) berries eventually, The herbs are doing well, and if I can get a raised bed built, I can have some vegetables. I also hope to have at least one hive of bees some day. Lots of fun!!

Mama, just put a deer fence around your garden. We've done that and it works. Get the longest t-posts you can find and drive them in. Six feet is good enough. Hang some mesh or chicken wire from them. Of course if you are thinking a huge garden, it could get expensive.

New entries! Take a look at the horse that came to visit!

The members have spoken and their wish is my command. ;D
Actually had the website done months ago but in the madness that is life, forgot to upload it. ;D
So now when you go to "http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswblogs/ (http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswblogs/)" you will no longer get an error. Instead you will get a list of available blogs.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I can't seem to log on to comment on Mac's blog. I have the password you sent me a while back, but it doesn't work.
I do wish there was a way to use the same ID and password for the forum and ALL the blogs. Having a different one for each really inhibits things, I think. ML

The blogs are each a stand-alone installation. Since they and the forum all use MySQL and PHP, I'm sure they could be linked to run off the same login info. However, that would greatly increase the time and effort needed to update the software of either. An update to either could, and probably would, break things until the customization could be redone. I know that isn't what you are wanting to hear but linking the login info would be a huge can of worms.
Security issues aside, you can use the same username and password for each blog and the forum... You just have to register for each of them. :-\

That's not a problem for me. But the passwords are issued to us. I don't see a way to change them...
And my password for Mac's blog still doesn't work anyway. :(
-
The blogs issue passwords? Ah, well you can see how often I've tinkered with them. :-\
Does he allow comments on his? Or it may be awaiting his approval. I'll take a look this evening.

Yes, the blog allows comments, but one must be "logged in" to leave one. I have logged in previously, but now I can't.
I can't log in because it won't accept my password. I didn't make up that password, so it must have come from somewhere else. I'd gladly change it, if I could figure out how. sigh...
