My brother and one of his friends have these and they go anywhere. Be great for Wyoming. Great deal too. ( 72 Pinzgauer 710m )

I will always have a special place in my heart for military vehicles.  they are just cool. :).  If i had one I'm sure I would take it out to dinner on trips to town and maybe even go hunting occasionally.

on a practicality side, for the price you pay to get a mil vehicle you'd be much better off getting a utility RTV/ATV type deal.  they are much more reliable and can even be licensed to drive on the roads in many states.  they cost less to maintain and fuel as well.

mil vehicles should be viewed as a labor of love and not as a viable bug out vehicle or SHTF rig.  they are FAAR from being relaible, cost effective or low profile.  something a good SHTF vehicle should be all of.

now that said,  Where can I get one! ::)

Pinz's are GREAT vehicles.  They'll go almost anywhere.  Go to youtube and do a search on Pinzgauer and the vids are a hoot.  Air cooled aircraft engine...  Cool stuff.

Yeah, Jack, you're right on the low profile, etc., but I sure would like to have one.
