Hey folks,wondering if we could get afew questions answered. What is the sales tax on items like fifth wheels,and is there a maximum? Any local dealers to recomend? How about insurance agents(auto,home)? Any help from Crook or Weston folks on these items would be appreciated.

Thanks.  Also hotels/motels that allow dogs? Will it be hard to find vacancies in January?

Thank you all for the info.  A few more questions:  Any FSW RE agents you would recommend?  Any snow on the ground now?  What do you think of AR15s?

Jeb at Western Properties in Sundance is a good guy who has helped quite a few of us out.  He's not affiliated with FSW at all but he knows about it.  Tell him I sent ya. ;D

Snow? In Wyoming? In December? Heck yeah!
I've plowed my 2 miles of road three times now, the latest being yesterday after getting a good amount on Friday. But it varies tremendously. The interstates might be clear and dry, but getting into the backroads is a different story.

I think the motels should not be a problem. Some are closed in winter (Hulett) since few travelers come this way in mid-winter. There's a nice Best Western on the east side of Sundance that's open year round. I think their rates are pretty cheap right now. Plenty to choose from in Gillette.

A good friend of FSW (and avid Ron Paul supporter)  has a motel in Newcastle. Hill Top Motel is at 1121 S. Summit Ave. See their website at http://www.hilltopmotel-us16us85.com (http://www.hilltopmotel-us16us85.com)  Phone # 307-746-4494

All the usual amenities, including Wi-Fi and hard wired internet. Some rooms have a refrigerator and microwave.
