Hello Free State, I have really good friend in Lander that introduced me to the sight and while I don't think I can get my wife to move I support the cause. I spent some time in the Wind River Range for Geology camp and love the area and the people. I look forward contributing to the forum.

All people are different, but if it's any help, I'll tell you my experience:
My wife was not on board for the first few months that I wanted to move to Wyoming. She slowly got into the idea over time. Now that we're living here she adores the state and is happier than I've ever seen her.

Welcome! Take your time and get to know the folks here. Encourage your wife to talk to some of us too. Sometimes it just takes the enthusiasm of one person rubbing off on another. That is probably more effective than any overt attempt to convert her. But see if she has some specific objections - say about the weather or whatever, and gently give her information to address those concerns. You just never know. Let us know how we can help!

Wives can be funny that way. Give us time and we usually become more enthusiastic than our husbands. ::) I have to say that I have met some of the most honest, down to earth people where I live and have become fast friends. We would do anything for each other and our families.

Morning, welcome to the pool - jump right in.
Thanks for the high marks on the 'friendship' meter.
Same sentiment here!
Ask away, poke around, see what there is to see.
