Yup, today marks my 3 year anniversary of my arrival in the great state of Wyoming. Yaaaaaaahhhhhooooooo!
Best decision I ever made. I don't think I could ever move to any other state having now tasted the wide open spaces and the freedom that Wyoming affords. It's turned out pretty much like what I had envisioned.
So I'm looking forward to the next 3, the 3 after that, and the 3 after that.

Happy Anniversary!
A couple days ago marked the 3rd month anniversary of my move and I feel similarly - that it was one of the best decisions of my life. A decision made, in no small part, because of the hospitality you and your wife (among others) extended to me on my first recon visit in May 2009. Thank you.
Many happy returns,
Kelly

Today is the 4th anniversary of my move to Newcastle, Wyoming.
What is it about April 1st?
We'll have to stop calling it "April fools day"...

Have been back in Casper three years now myself, lived here as a teenager in the 80's,but the change is too much for me.so Sat, my family and I will head back to Chadron,Nebraska, same freedoms, less people.

Same freedoms? Thought NE had a healthy (progressive) income tax? If one makes over 27K, you've got to shell out 6.84% to NE.

Every dollar that has to be given up in taxes is a dollar's worth of liberty lost.

what kind of change are you saying is too much for you? And why did you move to Casper if you wanted less people? I would think somewhere smaller would be less people.

I'm so pleased that FSWers are so happy with their relocation.
Thank you all for showing such commitment to Wyoming, the West, and American Liberty!
