Are you aware of this?

If this treaty is ratified (only requires the majority of the Senate not Congress) will this be enough to inspire Wyoming and her law makers to say "ENOUGH" and finalize the draft to succession from the USA?
I will never surrender my guns. So I may not be long lived around here much longer.

Really, just what force of law does a treaty have? (Hint: ask the American Indians.)
-
I don't think there is a lot of concern that this can get through the Senate (keeping in mind they have done some pretty squirelly stuff lately, like the bank bailouts and NDAA).
-
If this treaty is ratified (only requires the majority of the Senate not Congress) ...
Not true. Treaties require a two thirds majority of the Senate = 67 votes. That's not gonna happen.
-
OTOH, the creators of this treaty don't give a rats A$$ about our ratification process once Obozo signs it.
It's the signing they are concerned with. In their eyes that makes us a party to the treaty.
-
This is a harsh reality folks. I really thought it would never come to this. Obama has nothing to lose and this treaty would "force" congress critters to pass draconian restrictions to be in compliance with the treaty.

Only if it were ratified. Does anyone think that when Obozo signs this that 2/3 of the Senate is going to ratify it?
-
Yea but if Obozo signs it, it has the same force of law as if I signed it! ;D

Did anyone think Congress would pass the bank bailouts with constituent opposition running something like 99% against?
If the ruling class thinks it's time to try, then it's time to try. If they do go for it, I think they will fail, but that's just my little old opinion.

Absolutely...
What's that old saying, "Don't fight the Fed"?
They knew better than that.

That's my opinion also. But, in this case they can't resort to the "Budget Reconciliation" process scam like they did with Obozo Care to slide it through (in the middle of the freakin' night!) by a simple majority.

I know this may sound a little cliche but here it goes anyway ;) "They can have my guns when they pry them from my cold dead fingers"!

Apparently, the agreement fell apart:

Don't worry...I'm sure they'll try again soon. >:(

They will probably try to wait till after the election to try again. Then they will "miraculously" find an agreement, etc.
