Back after a long hiatus, be visiting soon

Well its been quite a while since Ive been around, but Im happy to finally report that Ill be visiting in a matter of weeks! A couple years ago now I had planned to get out of the Navy and make my way out there. Long story short I made some pretty bad financial choices that set my plans back almost to square one. Fast forward to today and I am back on track and more ready than ever to get this done. Im beyond fed up with things out here and people moving out west is gaining more and more publicity (making me more and more jealous all the time). New plan is to get out of the Navy next Feb and go to UW for either Petro-Chemical or Petroleum Engineering since Ill have a free ride with the GI Bill.

There isn't much time since I deploy in May for 7 months but Ill be visiting Laramie/UW and wherever else I can drive to in the 3 days I have from Apr 12-14. It was a lot cheaper and I think it will be nicer to fly into Denver then drive in to see some scenery along the way and maintain my mobility to see more of Wyoming.

So, what are the must sees? It would be great to grab some coffee and meet some of you.

Send me an email, We can have coffee here in Laramie.  My wife and I are both ex Seabees  and one of our sons graduated last year as a Mech Engineer so I'm sure we can find something to talk about.

Still on track to fly out, getting more excited by the day. Wyobob, sounds great I will send you an email. ML, we might be taking a day to drive around the state on the 14th so I will keep New Castle in my head.

The die is cast, we had a great time in Laramie and I really like the college and the little bit of Wyoming we did see. This is going to be a long 7 month deployment but I havent been this excited about anything in a long time so hopefully it will go quickly.
