Is Wyoming Right for Us?
« on: September 02, 2006, 05:32:44 PM »
Good Evening,

I recently started looking into the Free State Wyoming effort in relation to choosing the next move for my wife and I. As we are in our 50's with our youngest a junior in high school, we are starting to consider a future away from the the Washington (DC) metropolitan area.

I guess one of the first questions that I have is whether or not the state of Wyoming taxes military retirement...my first career was in the United States Army.

We are an "eclectic" family. I was in the Army in 1973, while my dear, sweet darling wife was in Greenich Village.

Now, she wants a Mossberg...while I want a Remington!

Molon Labe,
Steven

Unlike New Hampshire, Wyoming has no personal or corporate income taxes on any type of income.

Just so you know what we in Wyoming call folks who want guns around their homes ...........................

Well, we call them "good neighbors"  ;D
