After 2+ years of talking, dreaming, praying, and planning, here we are! We havent actually made it "home" to Lander yet (will be there later today) but we have spent our first night in Wyoming as Wyomingites instead of visitors.
I don't think I ever really posted a true introduction, though I have been hanging around here for a couple of years now. I am 24, my wife is 21, and we have been married for 3 years today. I am a country boy, grew up on my parents and grandparents farm in the hills of southern Kentucky, on 70 acres bordering Dale Hollow Lake. My sister and I were the fifth generation on that farm. There were just two of us kids, my wife was the third of nine in her family. We have left all of our families, our friends, our church, and our good jobs for the opportunity to contribute towards and be a part of a "Free State" project, and build a new life for our future family here in Wyoming. It is hard to believe that we are really here after all this thinking and planning! This is my wife's first visit to the state, as she was not able to accompany me on my two previous trips. I am looking forward to seeing her face as she sees the country for the first time today, it is so different from southern Kentucky and northern Tennessee.
Gotta run now, but just had to post that WE ARE HERE!
