Suggestions for a visitor/explorer
« on: August 11, 2011, 04:05:52 PM »
I will be leaving from Washington on 09/20 and venturing out to Southwest Montana/Northwest Wyoming to explore possible places to relocate to from Florida. I definitely plan on visiting Bozeman and Cody, but does anyone have a suggestion on some lesser known locations that I might like? I only have two and a half days to all of my exploring, so it must be targeted. I am definitely looking for room to breathe, but I also don't want to be real far from a hospital, decent stores, etc. (I do have three daughters and a wife that will need some civilization from time to time).

Two and a half days, Bozeman and Cody? You've already filled your time.  :D  People don't realize how far apart towns are around here. Where are you flying into or out of? I suppose Billings is the obvious other choice, maybe Powell if farm towns of around 5000 are on the plate.

Would you prefer Californians migrate to Wyoming?

My father says that his greatest regret is that he was born in California.  He was there six days before his father was discharged from the service and his parents took him home to Texas.
