Confirmed as leaving...

Well tommarro I will be giving my two weeks to my employer to announce my departure in two weeks for  ~W~ .
Thing Is, I will be taking a leap of faith, as of right now I have no house or even job leads. I just really want to get there before winter sets in, and be able to enjoy what little summer is left in Wyoming  :)

I will be moving to the Casper/Douglas area. Not sure which I should move too... I will have to decide that in the coming weeks if I come accross more solid leads for jobs+housing.

Im getting kinda nervous actually about the whole thing  :-\ but who doesnt get nervous when their life is about to drastically change...for the BETTER!  ;D
Any help will be usefull as I will be moving blindly.

The park is full up but as I said, y'all kin pitch a tent & shower free at Douglas's Riverside Park.? :o

PatriotAR15, most excellent news and kudos!

There are at least a half dozen FSWers in that area, so you've
a bit of local support/advice.  Please keep us posted with your progress.

I admire you for taking the Wyoming "plunge"!

I gave my two weeks notice at work, on this last friday (8/11/06)
Schedualed to be in WY on 8/25-27/06

Finally I will live in AMERICA (I dont consider NJ America)

Im en-route to WY!

Im currently in an Ohio Service/Rest stop, and am connected via WIFI :)

I will be heading to Toledo Ohio, and then head over to the UP too stop by a friends house. Then after a couple days I will drive out to WY.

Its been a stressfull couple days since I left on saturday.
Mainly, my car broke down.
Luckily, I was able to purchase a truck to get me to where I need to go. Luckily I had the money and plenty to spare.

I'm afraid you won't be coming as far north as Newcastle, but if you did you'd be most welcome to stay a night and so forth, as I've offered to any of the bunch. In any case, you will most certainly be in my prayers. Hang in there, and thank God you had what you needed to weather the bumps in the road so far. You'll do just fine here.

Welcome, and if you ever do get this far - don't be shy about coming in to visit. Just PM for directions.

All I can say is sir, you are a badass.  Just up and leaving like that is a ballsy move.  I'd share a fighting hole with you any day.

I'm here!  ~W~ I'm now in Wyoming in Glenrock! Tomarro I begin my jobhunt!
I love it here, the landscape is so beautiful, and the people are so helpfull and hospitable.
I know I made the right choice.

Did you sneak through Newcastle without seeing Mama? <G> Anyway, feel free to visit, and I'm sure we'll meet one of these days anyway. You are near Shawn and Brandy there. They are super people and will welcome you, I'm sure.
