I also think Rick's idea pretty nifty.

The new board "Books We Like!" has been created
w/i "Everything Else" and will contain the individual topics, e.g.:

Freedom fiction
Reference
Current Events
Self help

ricwoz is the Moderator (thanks Rick!).

Let's keep the # of topics at these 4 for now, for manageability.
Y'all have fun!

So I went to "books we like" and I'm not seeing the one that started the thread, Jims review of Molon Labe . Does he have to be the one who puts it there ?
Also Lady liberty could post her review ?

Jim is welcome to post a copy of his review there if he wishes,
but I haven't asked him to do so because I don't want the
board Books We Like! to become a BTP book board.

If you all disagree, well, OK--go for it (and thanks).

For what it's worth...

I had already read Molon Labe prior to reading Jim's review.  However, even if I had not read the book prior to reading the review, the amount of information provided in the review would have served to make me want to read the book all the more.  I thought he gave just enough information to cause inquiring minds to want to read the complete text.

In my opinion it was an excellent review, Jim.  Thanks again!

Dear Friends,

Thanks for the kudos.  I do think that it makes sense for Molon Labe to be mentioned in books we like.  ALthough, it might be a tad...pleonastic.  One does sort of expect that people who are here at the Free State Wyoming forum have read that book.  Or, you know, are lazy bureau-rats afraid that their cushy jobs in domestic covert espionage would be ruined by our plans.  Heh-heh-heh.

It seems to me that there's no real need to duplicate the text of my review in two places.  Anyone who wishes to search on a relevant term can find the data.  And, there are 10,002 posts already (234 members woo-hoo!!) so why duplicate?

Regards,

Jim
