MamaLiberty = hard core anarchist, also escaped from California.
As another libertarian California escapee, I understand entirely, Mama!
In my travels around the country, I've found that whether one is a "
Kalifornian", or a "
Californian", most are initially lumped in with ""
KA" by default. Fair or not, there are so many statists in and leaving there, that
everyone ends up painted the same way until people get to know them.
It doesn't particularly bother me, since 1) I'm an
ex-
Californian, 2) I'm a Christian libertarian, and 3) I think there's a difference between a "
Kalifornian" and a "
Californian."
The term "
Kalifornia" seems to connote a collectivist uber-state, like "Neu Jersey" or "Taxachussetts" - A "
Kalifornian" is one who supports the leftward march of the state and the country; a statist/collectivist by action, even though many of them claim to detest socialism.
On the other hand, "
California" simply refers the the (geographical) state, and a "
Californian" is someone who was born and/or raised there.
Just my $0.02.
