Look what I did
« on: August 07, 2007, 12:52:39 PM »

I know the pics are bad but I need a better camera. That is a FSW silver coin in a money clip bracket. I got the bracket for $16.85 including shipping from this guy, bardaex@cornhusker.net

I don't know whether to stay with the Buffalo Free State Wyoming and Molon Labe or the reverse State and year. Let me know what you think.

Beulahtrash,

I'd just have to settle for a coin toss on that one; both sides are, of course, exquisite!

Dear Chris,

I think both sides are very nice.  The buffalo is...just a buffalo, to me.  The topographical map of the USA showing, among other interesting features, the Ozark Mountains where my mother's people come from, is always a favorite.

Regards,

Jim

My long posts make some think I'm a key figure in FSW.  I'm not. I'm not an officer nor a leader.  I'm just this guy.  I think FSW is a great idea, & defend & promote it as I'm able.   Assuming that anyone agrees w/me is mistaken. Your bad results from your poor assumptions are your responsibility.

Very nice indeed!  My vote would be for the map. Great idea BTW  :)

I'll have to be the dissenting vote. I like the buffalo face better. The "Free State Wyoming" stands out and you have "Molon Labe" symbolicly protecting the money being held in the clip.

Or could just make one of each and flip a coin each morning to see which one you are going to carry for the day.  ;D

I vote for the buffalo side. How did you do that? Where did you get the clip?

I really like the buffalo side too and that is how I have it set up right now. The "Molon Labe" really stands out and after FSW Forum Adminstrator's comment I think it just miight stay like that. I bought the clip from a guy on ebay selling money clips with poker medalions and similar 39mm coins. I contacted him to ask if he would sell just the clip. $16.85 later it showed up at my office the next business day after I ordered it. I posted his e-mail address with the pics I believe he is out of Nebraska. I have seen the same clips alone selling elsewhere for $30.

Awww. SWEET. ~W~

You know, I think the Buffalo side looks nicer with the FRN's. And with that WYO license sticking out. Cool.
