Dear god, you people crack me up. SB, way to go.
However, Vonu has a bit of a point though it might offend those leaving Kali. Keep in mind that a lot of folks are not ideologically compatible with freedom because they either aren't aware that the comrade-ism of Kali is what keeps it as it is and makes it worse each year. Most of the media bad mouths a "free market" but the market is far from free. I understand that generalizations offend people, and I think Vonu should clarify his point of view. At the same time, a lot of people bring their big statism with them without realizing that the outlook they were indoctrinated in is what caused Kalifornia to become a hellish socialist/fascist "whatever the hellistan" you want to call it

Dealing with people on an individual basis (except when making observations of large cultural patterns) tends to be a better mindset since it doesn't lump together potential gold, with potential manure. Keep in mind that both gold and manure are useful. Its just that manure has to be BURIED in the ground to be useful, while gold has to be dug up!
Still, I read a Daily Press article in Virginia here, just upon my return to find out that a "suspected MS13" gangbanger was "busted" in Williamsburg. Williamsburg Virginia is one of the heaviest armed cities around despite being a college town. However, as far as I understand it, once a "suspected MS13" gang member is "busted" its fairly certain that the place is infected with those scumbags. Unless the locals get sick of cops selling out and clean house on their own, I'm willing to believe only the rural residents won't bend over, especially when the MS13 bastards start recruiting at the local movie theaters in smalltown Virginia. However, in the big city, I only go for fun, and usually with at least two spare mags in a large caliber

Why do I still go? Why, because I have that adventurer gene that sends me off on crazy quests into dangerous places. So far, i'm still looking for the dragon's treasure, though. (Actually I go because the best gunshop in the area is still in Hampton Virginia. That and my favorite gun range is in the middle of suburbia... still not sure why idiot socialists moved in next to a gun range and now want to close it because "it makes too much noise"... were the gunshots 50 yards from their fence just not as "loud" back when they bought land there? Was there not enough lead in the water around a 120 year old gun range back when they were shooting plain lead?) As I've stated, I'm almost done with business in this area, and at that point, there will be little to hold me here. My family is set, I'm pretty eager to get the hell out, and like others have asked on the board recently... is there good work for a CDL in that area? How much experience is required for the higher paying jobs? Mind you I've got almost 3 years on the road and I'm a fairly independent driver with a penchant for preferring good quality equipment and keeping said equipment in the kind of order I like it to be in when issued to me.
The reason I'd ask is simple. I cannot seem to ever get a response to emails or telephoned requests, either for interviews or anything else... I make a better impression in person, so I figure I'll have to deal with this when I get myself out there. In a way I appreciate that people there prefer to settle things on a handshake, but the flakiness bothers me a wee little bit.
