Open to the public Friday evening May 1st, Saturday May 2nd and Sunday May 3rd, 2009

I have spoken to the promoter of this gun show and I'm certain of the dates of the show.  He did not and I do not have any other details, but they are coming soon.

The show is sponsored by the Gillette Gun Club and any proceeds of the show benefit the Gillette Gun Club.

Do you have any idea if this is in any way related to the Wasatch gun show?  I have been to a few of the shows they put on.  A lot of the vendors travel the country picking up guns from pawn shops and then try to sell them with new gun prices.  I know prices are through the roof right now, but if you can walk into a store and get a new gun for a lower price, the gun shows down here in Cheyenne just don't float my boat.  Citizen sales are a different thing, and yes there are a few "non dealer" sellers but they are rare. 

I'd appreciate what you can find out.  It may be worth the drive.

The gun show on May 1-3, 2009 is NOT a Wasatch show.  It's sponsored by the Gillette Gun Club.  Yes, there WILL be just plain folks at the show selling their personal guns, not all of the vendors are FFL dealers. 

You are likely to find prices high at the gun show in Gillette, just as they are in other places, but if you aren't at the show you'll never know what you may have missed.  It may be that the prices you'll see at today's gun shows will be looked at as bargains at a later time.
