Welcome from a fellow newbie to FSW,

I also spent some time in the Corps and am now trying to finish up my career in the Army.  Heading out to Wyoming later this year as a recruiter.  Welcome aboard and enjoy,

Chris

Aaarrgh!  Another Squid!

Welcome from one of the resident STRATS (what they used to call us here in Cheyenne) or you can say FLAP.  Whichever you prefer.  As with me, 2 more years and I can punch out.  18 years has passed by pretty darn quick.
Enlisted men are stupid, but very cunning and deceitful, and bear considerable watching.

Thanks for the welcome, I am still trying to convince the wife on moving there. I think the only thing she would require is some land and a couple of horses. And since being in the service and moving every 2 to 4 years we are not tied to moving back home hell its been 18 years since we've been there. Again thanks for the welcome.

Welcome aboard!  Navy guy myself (at least for a while yet...), worked with the USCG on many operations in the South COM AOR - thanks for your service and professionalism.

This forum is as close as it gets to a new check-in sheet...

Jeezus.. I had no idea there were so many of us former members of the Jewish Navy (That's what my old man... a WW2 Navy Vet, said the Blue Water Navy referred-to the Coast Guard as) here. The old man said that it took political influence to get into the Coast Guard during WW2, so there was a high proportion of well-connected Jews in the Coast Guard in those days.
