Hello
« on: April 30, 2009, 09:16:34 PM »
Hello everyone, I have discovered your site tonight and I am feeling better about being an american. I live in minnesota and have been feeling oppressed for years. I would like to live where I can have my fire-arm handy and not feel like a criminal. Im tired of getting dirty looks from people in my neighborhood because I have a truck with a winch on it. I dont want an electric car. I dont want a GPS meter in my vehicle to track my mileage so I can pay more of my hard earned money to fund this welfare state. I like tobacco. I like Waylon Jennings. I like fishing. I like my Colt govt model. And mostly I require freedom. I will be researching this site more as I am itching to leave this state A.S.A.P. Thank you for your help in advance. Burton.

I did once and pulled my groin badly :o. I stay away from high impact sports- too many injuries over the years. I don't mind cold weather though.
I would consider moving to Alaska but it is so far away I would probly never come back.

You will see some response from Rich once in a while.  I think he is a refugee from MN.  I am presently in occupied territory deep in the heart of Illinoistan.  Hope to escape to Wyoming sooner rather than later.

And a hearty welcome to the board!

Welcome indeed! If I could escape from California, you can escape from anywhere that doesn't have razor wire. (Yet)

Come see beautiful Wyoming and meet the folks. :) I much prefer my XD .45, but I'm not prejudiced. You can carry anything you like when you come to my house! LOL

The June camp out info is at this link: http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswforum/index.php?board=58.0

I have not bought any handgun ammo in quite a while, but I know some folks have gotten some recently on line. The prices are insane, of course... but it is available as long as your state doesn't require micro-stamping or some such nonsense.

Best bet is to get set up to reload.

Good heavens, how many in a box? The last .45ACP (FMJ) I bought was about 40 cents a round. But that was before the panic.

Prices seem to be stable now, and may well come down again - at least for a while. Look on line, but don't expect any bargains right now.

50 in a box.Hollow point. Seems expensive but priceless if ever needed. Unable to find magazines for my colt 1911 until last weekend I found some generic ones at gander mtn. No holsters available that I can find. Anyway..... I just got this colt govt model and have not had time to shoot it yet.
I been workin on fixing my house up so I can sell it a.s.a.p. and move out of chinapolis Mn. This state is full of beauty and 10,000 lakes. Unfortunately it is full of politicians who are very generous with other peoples money. It is also the state with at least 10,000 laws and regulations. It makes me sad because I was born here but I have been living a false life here in the city. Nature here I come.
