My Independence Day weekend
« on: July 06, 2009, 01:56:05 PM »
This weekend was a blast. Friday night, we went out and blasted off some fireworks. On Saturday Biathlon showed me and his son his favorite little fishing hole up in the mountains at about 10,500 ft. and we were the ONLY ones at the lake (ON THE 4TH).  We caught a few trout up there, if it wasn't for the lightning we would have caught our limit in no time.  Then we went back to his place and cooked up the fish.     Then yesterday, I signed the lease to an apartment in Laramie, Its great to finally be out here and having my own place.  It's been years since I've actually been able to really relax and enjoy life.

Congratulations and welcome. You got off on the right foot there, for sure, and biathlon can't be beat as a companion. Just beware... he'll have you living on skis as soon as the snow flies. LOL  :)

Outstanding. I too had a great time in my little neck of the woods. Explosives and bright lights seem to go great with beer and charred meat.

Thanks mama, every time i mention something about snow, he laughs like 'you have no frickin idea'.  In a way i can't wait to learn to ski, it'll be a new challenge. (don't tell biathlon though).
