I guess I need to intoduce myself (again)...
« on: March 13, 2007, 11:41:52 PM »
The board has changed quite a bit since I last posted (that was quite a while ago). So, I'm reintroducing myself.

I've been part of the preparedness community for 25+ years and I am an active member of a "no BS" survivalist/preparedness community. Over the past few years I've been active in the 9/11 truth movement, little "L" Libertarianism (I'm more Minarchist than anything, I guess) and some good old fashioned capitalism (I've started my own surveillance and security systems company).

My wife (Handfasted 15 years) and I are currently in a very steady, long term, live-in Coop/gulch/Co-housing arrangement with another couple (yes, we're polyamorous) out here on the high plains of Colorado . Together we have four kids, one on the way and allot of animals on our 44 acre "hobby farm". We have several horses, llamas, sheep, milk goats, chickens, dogs, cats, rabbits, and raise our own produce in 3,000sq/ft of garden. Our long term goal is to build, as much as possible, a self-sufficient lifestyle on our little farmsteads. Oops forgot to mention our 250m rifle range complete with bullet riddled blue helmets :->

Our family also has farmland in Lodgepole, NE and rental properties in the "trailer park" neighborhood just off of McCue Ave in Laramie. So I guess we've been FSW for quite some time.

In general, we're the "Adams Family" meets "Stranger in a Strange Land" with a bit of "Freehold" thrown in. ;->

Dear Einherar,

Anyone who quotes Seneca the Younger and has his own PGP key is welcome here in my book.  Thanks for the re-introduction.  Clearly the twilightsown domain is misspelt in your .sig so that has to be modified to fetch forth your key.

It sounds like you've an interesting life.  For those who might choose to criticise your polyamorous behavior as unholy, it occurs to me to mention the behavior of King Solomon who had...rather a lot of wives.  In any event, as far as I can see, "Ain't nobody's business if you do."

Several of my business interests intersect with security and surveillance systems, so feel free to contact me by private message.

There is a thoroughgoing thread for people to leave their GPG/PGP keys on this board.  Mine is there.  Somewhere. Here? http://www.fundamentalsoffreedom.com/fswforum//index.php?topic=2301.0

Now, Stranger in a Strange Land and Farnham's Freehold I've read, and highly recommend.  But the Adams family?  You mean, like Sam and John and Abigail and John Quincy Adams?  Or the Addams family?

or ?

Regards,

Jim

My long posts make some think I'm a key figure in FSW.  I'm not. I'm not an officer nor a leader.  I'm just this guy.  I think FSW is a great idea, & defend & promote it as I'm able.   Assuming that anyone agrees w/me is mistaken. Your bad results from your poor assumptions are your responsibility.

planetaryjim,

I was in a rush copying the key addy, it's www.twilightsown.com/pgp-key.txt. My sig in my profile is correct now.

As for the fiction references, I was reffering to Michael Z. Williamson's "Freehold", quite possibly the best Liberatarian SciFi novel out there.

And yes, I was reffering to the "Addams" family, not the "Adams" family. I think that makes sense or does it? Now I'm confused.

BB,
Einherar
