perhaps Wyoming for me?
« on: February 18, 2008, 09:15:43 PM »
Hey all! I'm new to this forum, but have been following FSW off and on for a couple years. Having lived in western Nebraska and worked in eastern Wyoming (former C&NWRR) for some time, then moving to back to my native Iowa, where I've resided these past 11 years, a return to the freer/less restrictive environment is starting to sound pretty good. No time frame in mind yet, as there is much to do/consider before making the move. I'm about as pro 2nd as they get, long range rifle marksmanship being my primary interest. Not much room in Iowa for that....

Will probably look towards the Casper area. I spent a couple weeks there for OJT (Douglas and Bill, too), therefore being at least vaguely familiar with the area. I'm curious to see how much has changed over the last decade or so when I can make a visit. This spring?

Welcome! Anytime is a good time to come to Wyoming, but spring is good! Let us know when you are coming and we'll give you the 50 cent tour. <G> PM for directions if you want to visit me in Newcastle. I'd love to show you my beautiful little town. But there are many in the Casper area too who would no doubt welcome you as well.
It's not that people are dumber, it's that stupidity used to be more painful.
