Urgency?
« on: August 28, 2008, 11:35:36 AM »
For some reason I feel that "freedom" as perceived by many here (not moved to Wyoming yet) is not really a big deal.  I get the feeling they are waiting for something that will make Wyoming different and therefore more friendly to move to.  Well, when that happens it is likely to also have become less free.  We need people here to PREVENT the tide from rolling in from Colorado that (IMHO) has already crashed over a couple of our counties.  The politicians are not going to wait to pass more laws, they are being pressured to create the same safe socialism that exists in so much of our country.  With hordes of people moving here who just love to get on the gvmnt dole, there is an urgency to get here and, Oh right - the reason I used the tide analogy is that you can't stop these things once they are started.

Yeah, I've noticed quite a number of beggars and panhandlers here in Laramie lately. You used to never see that here. Wait till G. Trauner gets in there. He's almost an outright communist.
