Can we meet some of you?
« on: November 14, 2008, 08:55:58 AM »
Greetings freedom friends,

My wife and I left New Hampshire Oct 12 with the intention of relocating in the West. We were two of the early Free Staters that actually moved to NH from Nevada in the summer of 2004... after 4 years there, and seeing the sad NH primary election results, we decided to return to the West where perhaps living in a more freedom oriented community is more likely as the cancer of socialism chokes the nation, and also because our aging parents and siblings live in MT, ID, CO.

We both will be driving through northern/eastern Wyoming next weekend [11/21-23] and we would love to meet some of you. We'll be coming from Billings MT and going to Colorado Springs for a family Thanksgiving gathering.

Those of you able and willing to meet us for a cup of coffee, or the like, let us know here and we'll get in contact somehow.

Cheers

Sure! I live up near Devil's Tower in Crook County. Don't know if you'll be up this way. We're just south of Hulett. There's a state highway that runs from Hulett to the NW into MT. Don't know what that road is like, but it could be one way to get down to this area. Otherwise, it's I90 I guess. Either way, why don't you PM me for details?

Come to see me in Newcastle, by all means! I can introduce you to several FSW neighbors nearby. Coffee is always on, and if I know you're coming I can have yummies in the oven! PM for directions.

We would be glad to meet you, have coffee.  Have a spare room if you need to stay a night in Newcastle.

Sounds like you will probably be passing through Sheridan.  PM me and we can make some arrangements to meet up.

If you will be coming thru the Lander/Riverton area, I'd be proud to buy you a coffee - might even be able to put you up.

Thank you all for the kind responses! We'll get back to some of you individually for more specific contact details, but here is how our itinerary is shaping up:

We'll be in the Dayton, Ranchester, Sheridan area Thursday 11/20 in the pm/evening. Hopefully meet phred for breakfast in Sheridan Friday am, then head over to Newcastle to meet a few of the "comrades" in that area in the early afternoon; then drive on to CO from there. We need to be in Colorado Springs by Saturday noon, or so.

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as possible and learning more about life in WY!
