I hope freedom minded people in Wyoming can get together and join forces.  The first Wyoming Liberty Fest will be held Aug 21-23 near Lander.  Check out the website  www.wyominglibertyfest.org
Hope to see you there.

I just read the info at the website. This sounds interesting.
Anyone here planning on going?

I might be able to make it.  I'll be heading up about then for school.  I'm still thinking a bit on what exactly my schedule for those two weeks will be.

Got a reminder in the mail today which follows.  Notice this is a designated free-market zone, so try to bring some goodies to trade!  And what the hell is a 'stefbot'?

Hi liberty friends!

Thanks to those of you that have already RSVP-ed for the Liberty Fest in Lander in August!

Thanks also (and please keep it up) for marketing this event!  Please strongly encourage folks to RSVP soon, it is very helpful to have a good head-count idea!  :)
www.wyominglibertyfest.org

Feel free to send emails, make phone calls, make and post youtube videos marketing the event, use Facebook and any other means you choose.  This is OUR celebration of liberty and you don't need centralized permission to help spread the work, right?  :)  You are encouraged to invite your legislators to attend.

Also, FYI ... the Ranch is a free market zone!  Bring T-shirts, bumper-stickers, knives, vegetables, books or anything else you would like to barter with fellow friends of liberty.

Hmmm. No mention of guns or ammo?
I see they're going to do shooting on Sunday.
Maybe an oversight?

If I go I'll be OCing everywhere like at all the FSW gatherings. If anyone has a problem with that then I won't go.

Ah, I sincerely doubt there would be a problem with that.  :)

Looks interesting. We will likely attend.

I do like how if you follow the link for the band it says they play covers by
Creedence, Eagles, Barenaked Ladies, Grand Funk, Elvis, Skynard, Beatles, Nirvana, Skynard, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Vince Gill, Merle Haggard....

Notice that Skynard is on there twice?
Love it. And that is somehow reminding me of a line in Blazing Saddles.

True.

I like both kinds of music. Lynard AND Skynard!

Though I hope they don't play the Skynard song ""Saturday Night Special":

"Hand guns are made for killin'
Ain't no good for nothin' else
And if you like your whiskey
You might even shoot yourself."

"So why don't we dump 'em people
To the bottom of the sea
Before some fool come around here
Wanna shoot either you or me."
