FS: Leupold 2.5-8x36mm Mk4 Scope w/ Rings
« on: February 13, 2010, 08:12:24 PM »
This scope has finger-adjustable knobs with the elevation knob covered by a "7.62mm 168gr" cap (presumably matched to the Federal Match factory load?). The 30mm tube gives it a whopping 90 MOA of adjustment. The 'Tactical Milling Reticle' allows for accurate range estimation as well as quick holdovers when "dialing in" is impractical.

According to the Leupold website all Mk4 scopes come with flip-up lens covers. That was not the case with mine but I did buy the cover for the objective lens. They were all out of ocular lens covers at the time...

The original box, manuals, warranty card, etc is included and in tip top shape.

I should warn you that while the scope is in great shape (virtually unused, in fact) it has my name custom written on the right side in letters about 1/8" tall. This is not a "Bubba job", it came that way from the Leupold Custom Shop.

Also included are a pair of Leupold Mk4 rings (30mm). These will fit on any M1913 "Picatinny" or Weaver scope base.

Price: $1000 for the scope and rings.

I will consider wampum/trades.

Herk, can you give us a year of purchase, and / or year of manufacture, on this scope ?

 Thank you.

Well, I ordered it straight from the factory in 2008.  I don't know for sure when it was actually made but that's when I got it.
